ETIM xChange V2.0
ETIM xChange is the international standard for the exchange of product and trade item data, fully managed by ETIM International and its community. ETIM xChange is based on the European Master Data Guidelines (EMDG), taking into account national exchange standards such as DICO, BMEcat, and FAB-DIS. The exchange format is JSON-based, including a JSON schema for validation.

Planning version 2.0
The data pool currently accepts both versions 1.0 and 1.1 of ETIM xChange.
Version 2.0 will be released in phases as planned:
- Phase 1 – Basic import – release February 2026
- Support version 2.0 as an import in accordance with version 1.1
- Entity LCA (Environmental Data) in depth
- Entity Packing Unit in depth
- Entity MDX/ATX (attachments) in depth
- Addition of HasSerialNumber
- Phase 2 – Total import and basic export – release March 2026
- DICO +NL extension (including product certificates)
- Extension of import fields according to version 2.0
- Export as phase 1 import
- Phase 3 – Total export – release April 2026
- Export as phase 2
De schema mapping en bijbehorende documentatie zal in relatie tot de verschillende fases ook steeds verder uitgebreid worden.
