Environmental data

We collaborate with the installers who process and install your products to create a transparent and sustainable supply chain. To support their CSRD reporting, we collect CO₂ data from the products they purchase from you. This data forms an important basis for a complete and reliable emissions calculation.

What data is involved?

The focus here is primarily on product level data GWPTotal (kg CO₂-eq) from an EPD or LCA in phase A1-A3 Production phase (cumulative) and, if applicable, B6 Operational energy consumption and B7 Operational water use.

We urge you to add this information to your product data on 2BA so your customers can access it and comply with their legal EU reporting obligations. See here for an overview of manufacturers who have already done so.

For CSRD reporting only

Ownership and responsibility for the data remains with you as the supplier/manufacturer. The published environmental data is not suitable for comparing products; it is used solely for CSRD reporting.

What is required?

We ask you to provide the CO₂ emissions (GWP) for each product for the production phase (A1-A3), expressed in kg CO₂ equivalent (CO₂e), and the corresponding EPD attachment.

Providing data

Currently, only the ETIM xChange exchange format supports the necessary data elements. Since switching to a new exchange format is a significant undertaking, we have a temporary alternative route.

Return it via your regular contact person at 2BA, preferably via a feedback ticket.
We will then prepare this data for publication in the next regular dataset.
