Environmental data

We collaborate with the installers who process and install your products to create a transparent and sustainable supply chain. To support their CSRD reporting, we collect CO₂ data from the products they purchase from you. This data forms an important basis for a complete and reliable emissions calculation.

Product-level GWPTotal (kg CO₂-eq) data from an EPD or LCA in phases A1-A3 (cumulative) and any additional life cycles are preferred. We kindly request that you add this data to your product data so that your customers have access to it.

What is required?

We ask you to provide the CO₂ emissions (GWP) for each product for the production phase (A1-A3), expressed in kg CO₂ equivalent (CO₂e), and the corresponding EPD attachment.

Providing data

Currently, only the ETIM xChange exchange format supports the necessary data elements. Since switching to a new exchange format is a significant undertaking, we have a temporary alternative route.

  1. Download the template
  2. Return it via your regular contact person at 2BA, preferably via a feedback ticket.
  3. We will then prepare this data for publication in the next regular dataset.

The publication of the EPD attachments is included in the regular exchange formats:

  • ETIM xChange 1.1 – ATX006
  • ETIM xChange 2.0 – ATX004, MDX054
  • DICO SALES005 –  Attachment type EPD or STR+ attribute STRCategory=EPD
  • BMEcat 2005 ETIM V4.0 and 5.0 – MIME code MD54
